I've now been playing with acrylics for a couple of months and I sometime feel a bit of frustration with the wet-on-wet and quick drying. Really need a bit more open time for the blending on large surfaces. I've talked to a couple of people and notice that most of the realistic painters stick to Oil so I've decided to give it a try and see what it can bring to me. Will probably keep the acrylic for blocking shapes and getting a good tone underlayer though... Have decided to start by a simple 20x20cm still life and had a bit of a photoshoot sesssion, more to come then...
